Newsham’s Woodshop builds custom architectural humidor woodworking and commercial cabinetry for cigar lounges, tobacconists, hospitality spaces, private clubs, specialty retailers, and project teams that need more than standard casework. Our custom projects can include cigar display cabinets, walk-in humidor components, lounge lockers, POS counters, retail fixtures, specialty storage, and one-off millwork built around field conditions and layout requirements.
Project-Specific Layouts
Custom work can be planned around wall conditions, customer flow, product visibility, counter placement, backstock needs, and the architectural character of the space.
Commercial Shop Capacity
Our 17,000 sq. ft. cabinet shop uses two 10-foot sliding table saws and four overhead CNC routers with cutting footprints up to 5′ x 12′.
Cigar-Specific Materials
For cigar environments, we use genuine Spanish Cedar and premium hardwoods such as Sapele Mahogany while rejecting aromatic closet cedar that can damage fine cigars.
Custom commercial humidor work demands more than appearance. Newsham’s uses glued, screwed, and dowel-joined construction for commercial display cases to support airtight cabinet integrity, reduce humidity leakage, and avoid the weak structural staples or nails commonly found in low-quality mass-market imports.
