Newsham’s Woodshop Inc. is a family-owned and operated 17,000 sq. ft. commercial cabinet shop located in the Aldan Industrial Park near Philadelphia. From production woodworking to fine custom cabinetry and prototype wood parts, our shop manufactures custom work to specification and within required tolerances.
Our equipment includes two 10-foot sliding table saws, four overhead CNC routers with cutting footprints up to 5′ x 12′, automatic sanding and planing equipment, and the tooling required to support production runs, custom architectural millwork, cigar retail fixtures, and specialty fabrication.
Newsham’s has designed and manufactured retail display cigar humidors, custom walk-in humidor components, cigar lockers, counter units, store fixtures, library shelving, and specialty cabinetry for commercial environments across the country. Our commercial humidor cases use genuine Spanish Cedar, Sapele Mahogany, ventilated shelving, and glued, screwed, and doweled construction to support long-term cabinet integrity and humidity performance.
Another segment of the shop includes reusable shipping and storage wood containers for large machinery, technical equipment, and tooling based on engineering drawings from industrial, aerospace, electronic, and commercial customers.
Our CNC capabilities allow us to work from digital and CAD files for 2-D and 3-D wood, foam, and acrylic parts used in industrial, commercial, architectural, and prototype applications.

Newsham’s Woodshop is a family-owned and operated commercial cabinet shop based near Philadelphia in the Clifton Heights and Aldan, PA area. Since 1983, our shop has manufactured custom cigar humidors, walk-in humidor components, cigar lockers, retail counters, POS displays, and architectural millwork for commercial cigar retailers, lounges, hospitality spaces, private clubs, and specialty retail environments.

Our work is produced in a full-scale commercial cabinet manufacturing facility, not a reseller warehouse or import showroom.

Commercial Humidor Joinery
Newsham’s commercial display cases are glued, screwed, and dowel-joined for airtight cabinet integrity instead of built with cheap structural staples or nails.
Our material standards are cigar-specific. We use genuine Spanish Cedar where cigar contact and humidity behavior matter, along with premium hardwoods such as Sapele Mahogany for commercial architectural finishes. We explicitly reject aromatic closet cedar and tongue-and-groove closet liner products because excessive oils can damage fine cigars.
