For this project, Newsham’s Woodshop provided a complete package of custom cigar retail fixtures, humidified displays, walk-in humidor components, lockers, signage, and merchandising pieces designed to support both daily retail sales and the customer experience inside the lounge.

Walk-In Humidor
Custom walk-in humidor with Spanish cedar components, bottom storage, overhead display shelving, and stocked cigar display areas.
POS & Counter Displays
Point-of-sale counter with Durasein top, plus two humidified counter displays for featured cigars and customer-facing retail presentation.
Retail Merchandising Fixtures
Sapele Mahogany slat wall, retail shelving, bottom storage, pipe tobacco merchandising, and coordinated display components.
H-Series Humidors
Vertical commercial cigar humidors, including an H-636 with bottom storage and a custom double-deep H-617 display cabinet.
Cigar Lockers
Custom cigar lockers designed for the lounge environment and member experience.

A coordinated cigar lounge, not a collection of disconnected fixtures.
The Client Need
Leaf to Ash needed a retail and lounge environment that could display premium cigars properly, support strong customer flow, and give the space a finished, professional presentation from the sales floor through the walk-in humidor.
The project required more than a single cabinet or display. It called for a coordinated layout with multiple product zones, including the walk-in humidor, the point-of-sale area, humidified counter displays, vertical H-Series humidors, cigar lockers, merchandising shelves, and branded signage.
Newsham’s Solution
Newsham’s Woodshop provided a coordinated package of custom woodwork and humidor fixtures for the Leaf to Ash space.
The layout combined Spanish cedar walk-in humidor components, humidified display cabinetry, retail counters, slat wall merchandising, cigar lockers, and H-Series humidors into one cohesive retail environment designed around both cigar storage and the customer experience.

Walk-In Humidor
The walk-in humidor measures approximately 9’9″ wide x 19’0″ deep x 95″ high and features Spanish cedar components designed for premium cigar display and storage.
POS and Counter Displays
The point-of-sale area includes a 36″ wide x 20″ deep x 42″ high POS counter with a Durasein top, along with two 60″ wide x 20″ deep x 41″ high humidified counter displays.
Merchandise Area
The merchandise area totals approximately 110″ wide x 20″ deep x 84″ high and includes Sapele Mahogany slat wall, bottom storage, an H-636 with bottom storage, pipe tobacco merchandising, and additional retail display elements.
H-617 with HUBBLE Humidification
The project also includes a custom double-deep H-617 featuring two HUBBLE humidification systems with Spanish cedar covers. HUBBLE humidification was used on the H-617 display cabinet, while the walk-in humidor humidification was provided separately.

Leaf to Ash demonstrates how a cigar lounge can combine functional cigar storage, retail merchandising, customer flow, and branded presentation in one coordinated environment. The project uses a mix of humidified cabinetry, Spanish cedar components, display counters, lockers, and merchandising fixtures to create a space that works for both cigar sales and lounge customers.
Rather than treating each piece as a standalone fixture, the project was planned as a complete retail environment. Each product area supports a different part of the customer experience, from browsing the walk-in humidor to interacting at the POS counter, viewing featured cigars in humidified displays, and using the locker area as part of the lounge experience.
